Best for
- Marketing leaders preparing quarterly or annual strategy reviews
- Teams whose strategy lives in detailed Notion pages but not in executive form
- Operators who want a deck grounded in source decisions rather than polished filler
Use Claude Cowork to pull the actual decisions, evidence, open questions, and operating plan from a Notion workspace, then turn them into a tight deck that executives can challenge and approve.
An executive strategy deck with a clear decision narrative, evidence-backed slides, open questions, speaker notes, and traceable links to the source workspace.

Why this works
The hard part of a strategy deck is deciding what matters to the room, not designing slides. Claude Cowork can inspect the source workspace and compress it quickly, while a decision-first outline and explicit source links keep the deck honest and prevent attractive slides from outrunning the underlying strategy.
Expected results
Deck scope
A decision-first executive deck
The deck is bounded by the decisions in the meeting brief rather than by the size of the source workspace.
Evidence traceability
Material claims link back to Notion sources
Source links make it easier to challenge assumptions and update the deck without rebuilding the research.
Closed loop
Meeting decisions written back to the strategy workspace
Capturing decisions prevents the presentation from becoming a stale parallel version of the plan.

Before touching slides, write the three to five decisions the executive audience needs to make, the questions they are likely to challenge, and the time available. Add what is explicitly out of scope so the deck does not expand into a history of everything marketing did. Share the brief with the meeting owner and get agreement on the decision list. The QA gate is that every proposed slide can later be tied to one of those decisions or to evidence required to make it.
A short decision brief that defines what the deck must accomplish.
If the deck has no decision to drive, it will turn into a status report regardless of how strategic the source material is.

Mark the Notion pages Claude Cowork should treat as current and authoritative, and archive or label stale alternatives. Add source dates to research, performance tables, customer evidence, and financial assumptions. Create one index page linking strategy, audience, goals, choices, roadmap, evidence, and open questions. Review the index for contradictions before asking the model to synthesize it; otherwise a polished deck may quietly combine two different versions of the plan.
A current strategy source index with stale material clearly separated.
A source page called “Final v3 NEW” is not governance. Give the current strategy one obvious home and date it.
